An impartial matrimonial/divorce valuation is required if the parties involved cannot agree on how to divide up their assets fairly. A valuation from Wood Croft Chartered Surveyors’ RICS Registered Valuer will assist a judge in deciding how to distribute the parties assets in accordance with the law.

In most cases, the parties to a divorce jointly hire an RICS Registered Valuer to get an accurate property valuation, though valuers can also work for one/single party provided they remain impartial.
